I recently received the latest copy from my LATINA magazine subscription which is the April 2011 issue with Joanna Garcia on the cover. In the magazine it features Diego in the “GUY’S P.O.V” section where he talks about the dating scene in the U.S. vs. Mexico. Q: How is the dating scene different in the U.S. than it is in Mexico?
A: “In Mexico, it’s more old-fashioned. For example, you don’t kiss on the first date. And you still ask the girl, ‘Hey, do you want to be my girlfriend?’ It’s more planned out, I feel like here it’s more casual. You can meet them for lunch or coffee. You can figure it out and kind of play it by ear. But I do like to be a gentleman. For example, we’ll be walking down the street, and I’ll get on the side that’s closest to the cars. They’ll be like, ‘ Whoa, whoa, what are you doing?’ So that’s pretty funny here.”

This year, Dieguito headed off to Los Angeles to film the second season of 90210, where he brought to life the character of Javier, a international musician. Also, he participated in the Disney series, Zeke & Luther.

If that wasn’t enough, he hasn’t gotten tired from working and is writing music for his third album with music in Spanish & English.
